The 3VZ has earned an undue reputation for being unreliable. NOT TRUE! When we rebuild them, we know the techniques to machine them properly and build reliability into them. We absolutely will not cut corners when building a 3VZ.
 
 
Your 3VZ rebuilt engine includes:
 
Cylinder heads:
  1.  jet tanked, cleaned and inspected
  2.  pressure tested
  3.  surfaced (never belt sanded)
  4.  3 angle valve seats are cut to match new valves
  5.  new intake and exhaust valves
  6.  O.E.M.  Viton valve stem seals
  7.  valve springs are individually tested
  8.  polished camshafts are installed
  9.  valves are adjusted
  10.  all stud holes are repaired
Lower end:
  1.  block is jet tanked and magna-fluxed for cracks
  2.  torque plates are installed and block is bored
  3.  new freeze plug kit is installed
  4.  crankshaft is ground and polished
  5.  KING bearings are installed (mains, rods and thrust)
  6.  rods are resized and NEW ROD BOLTS are installed
  7.  oversized pistons and pins are installed
  8.  SEALED POWER rings are installed
  9.  O.E.M. Aisin oil pump is installed
  10.  all thread holes are inspected, tap chased and cleaned
Your engine is assembled using ONLY O.E.M. gaskets, oil seals and NEW HEAD BOLTS. Assembly is performed using all factory torque specs with tested and calibrated torque wrenches. We also ship the remainder of the gasket set to help with your installation.
